This is a set of 2 courses interweaved with eachother. You will not usually find someone giving these 2 courses together, because they usually are offered on their own.
Andes Studies finds it important to give students the opportunity to take both courses at the same time because of the fact that Ecovillages are examples of sustainable human settlements based upon conscious Permaculture design, and Permaculture is the perfect tool for succesful ecovillage design.
Our international teacher team is composed of permaculturists who have been involved in ecovillage design and living for many years. They are professionals in different fields and have long teaching experience on these topics.
Come and join the fun, let us together learn how to build sustainable human settlements for the health of mother Earth, all living creatures and future generations. This is the time to grab the knowledge for concrete action.
The courses take place at El Poncho ecocenter, a unique place built under Permaculture and Ecovillage principles as an example of architectural handcraft. At El Poncho, students will find the right settings for their training and inspiration for their work.
El Poncho offers you accomodation in handmade natural cabins, some of the food is produced in the organic vegetable garden, there are 2 dinning rooms, a natural swimming pool, soccer and beach volley courts, sweat lodge, bonfire circle, hot tub, etc.

Payment Details: The total cost for the double course 1,500.- $US
Every person has the right to take our courses regardless of age, gender or religious/political orientation. This course will be of great inspiration for all people who want to make a difference on this planet or simply are interested in the secrets of the Ecovillage world.
Due to max. 25 course participants, deposit payment of $US 200.- is required paid a month before course start. Andes Consulting account details via e mail. Students can also pay the whole course amount at any time, but no later than 15 days before course start.
Deposit Policy
While the deposit is not refundable, in the unlikely event that the course is cancelled by us, your full deposit will be returned. A minimum of 10 students is required to carry out the courses.
